There are numerous things to consider when choosing a K9 team to inspect your property.

Are they an independent service?  An Independent Detection Service has no vested interest in the outcome of the inspection, they're business is solely based upon customer satisfaction and accuracy.  They can recommend several different ways to eliminate any bed bug problem through pest control companies that offer numerous methods (heat treatment, chemicals, stream, etc).

How much experience does the handler have? Most pest control companies sent an employee to a kennel/training facility to spend 10 days learning to be a professional dog handler and then receives a certification for the same people selling the dog!  Recently in the Northwest a large pest control company sold their pre-trained dog because it wasn't performing to the industry standards.  A professional handler must have the experience to maintain the dog's ability and correct any problems.
